The NYSA-ILA Contract Board issued recommendations January 4th regarding the enrollment and payment for TWIC cards

"In order to minimize confusion about the payment of the TWIC enrollment fee, it is recommended that you advise your members to enroll only at the various mobile sites which were listed in the mailing previously sent to each member. Some of these sites are not yet established. When they are, it is recommended that each member enroll at the mobile site where the member is employed. No deep-sea member should pay the TWIC fee out of the member's own money. The industry will see to it that the fee is paid for each member."
